Together, we have done so much!

In 2007, Kay Roseen traveled to Trois Mares, Haiti with a local mission group. When she visited again in 2008, a Haitian father asked her to take his son back to the US and raise him as her own. Tearfully, she had to decline but was so moved by the parent’s desperate request that she decided to channel her energy to// uplift the Haitian children and their families for years to come.//make Trois Mares a better place to raise children. Upon her return to home to Teaneck, NJ, Grace Lutheran Church and the village of Trois Mares agreed to work together.

Soon thereafter, in 2009, Dr. Joyce Baynes spearheaded the efforts of Christ Episcopal Church in Teaneck to partner with the Haitian village of Chapottin.

Together, Dr. Baynes and Kay Roseen founded Future Forward for Haiti as a 501c(3) public charity in 2015.

In 2018 Future Forward for Haiti developed a third partnership, this time between Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham on the North Shore of Massachusetts and St. Louis d’Ayiti.

Most recently, since 2021, residents of the Gallatin Valley in Montana have been packing lunches for school children in of Bois Negresse, Haiti.

Future Forward for Haiti works to improve the education and well-being of children and their families in rural Haiti, even during these days of urban violence.
